i need to choose 3 among 5: in wind turbine industry

- PR
- direct Marketing
-personal selling
- advertising
- sales promotion

PR would be the best followed by advertising. You have missed out online marketing which is very important in this market. I would think marketing to the public sector would be a good place to start.

There’s a wind turbine industry? Rather grand. Sure it’s not a sector of the engineering industry? How to sell wind turbines to the unwary? Mmnn.
You need to raise the awareness of how important wind turbines are to your bank balance, sorry to their comfort and conscience.
    Cold calling is out.
Direct marketing to those three people who have shown a faint interest?
    That leaves
Advertising and leaves aside for the moment sales promotion.
No thanks, we’ve already got one.

    PR – - Stand-alone press releases, e-mail pitches and/or media advisories
    - Press kits (including such items as company and product or service backgrounders, management bios, product or people photographs, press releases and reprints of articles about your company)
    - Setting up your management as a source of experts for media interviews
    - Relationship building with editors
    - Customer success stories
    - Feature articles written by your management (or ghostwritten for them)

    Advertising
    - Gaining attention and market share through emotional appeals to business buyers is not uncommon.
Understanding the psychographics or logic system of your particular business target, whether chemists, doctors or data systems managers, may be expedited by convening several focus groups of typical prospects. Even a limited amount of feedback can cast a shimmering light on how to mold creative strategy. Also, some research is available relating job functions to personality types
