I am thinking about opening up a "Green" laundromat and am wondering how effective this will be as marketing strategy. I would use energy saving machines and possibly some kind of water recycling system. Do you think people would be interested?
I would say that’s a great idea – especiallly if you’re in a college town – where lots of laundry customers will be college-aged kids (who are also the demo who’d be drawn to "green" thing)
I would make sure your marketing directly hits to that demo – and don’t fall into the trap many other companies do with their advertising: trying to hit on lots of topics (ex: low price, good location, great service, etc).
Keep your marketing focused on your "green" aspect – and find creative ways of doing it. Plus, direct your marketing to places your demo audience will see it – student newspapers, flyers on campus, etc.

I started getting involved in affiliate marketing a couple of months ago, but I feel like I am jumping all over and not getting anything accomplished. I need an actual affiliate marketing strategy that I can follow step by step. Does anybody have a good one to follow? I am willing to pay some money for a program or tutorial.
Just like you I only started doing affiliate marketing about 3 months ago, but before that I had researched it for about 3 months. I came across a website for Matt Bacak, www.mattbacak.com, who is already a millionaire and I think he is only like 30 years old. He has several products that you can buy and also a newsletter that you can subscribe to you called Internet Marketing Dirt. I have found his products and even his free information on affiliate marketing strategy a ton better and more informative than anybody else’s that I have come across in the 3 months that I did research on affiliate marketing.
I have only been doing actual affiliate marketing part-time at nights and on weekends for 3 months, but I am seeing some pretty good income right now. It’s enough to pay my car payment as well as groceries for the month for our family of 3 so I can’t complain. And I know that it will only increase the more I work at it because I am learning how to be more efficient every day. Although I may never be able to quit my full-time job, I will continue to have this extra money for quite awhile, which means that my wife can stop working.
Anyways, check out Matt’s website and check out the different products as well as his newsletters as he has a great affiliate marketing strategy and is very willing to share it with anyone who will listen.

Hey guys, I am 7 feet tall and applying for a snorkeling/caretaker/blog position on an island. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can use my unique height as a marketing strategy and an advantage over my fellow competition?

Height can usually make you seem more assertive even if your aren’t. Basically you can be farely good at business in general. However your personality can screw that over completely it your too nice or have an awkward scared demeanor. It makes more people focus on you at all times. This can either work for you if your good at what you do or work against you if your bad at what you do. My advise to you is let your body do the talking and don’t get over excited with anything you do.
