Real questions looking for real answers.
The awareness that was raised in me was that their own market is large and the product available is either reproduction antiques or mediocre - both in quality and performance.
References :
In the questions I've read from them, I've never seen any talk about how great they are or particular features they may have that others don't. So, no, I don't believe this is any form of cheap advertisement.
References :
I think "Its That Guy" and "molitor" hit the nail on the head.

The Royal Enfields made in India are all single cylinder (I think) and no bigger than 500cc. I really don't know much about Bajaj. Its a mode of transportation for them.
References :
India has the largest middle class in the world. It is upwardly mobile, as opposed to 'rich' nations like the US and UK which seem now to be in an inexorable downhill slide. So it stands to reason that there are potentially more Indians on this forum than Americans or Brits or Aussies. The Indian motorcycle industry also is growing at this point, while US and Brit companies are stagnating. That's why you see so many questions about Indian bikes.

Here in California where I live, none of these bikes are even available, except the Bajaj scooter (actually an old Vespa made under license). There is no market here for 100cc bikes, in fact there's only one 250cc street bike that I know of, the Ninja 250. Everything else is 500cc or above. I think this is true all over the US. Motorcycles here are seen (and marketed) as a recreational device, not a transportation device.
References :
There is a new way of getting the word out about your business. SMS advertising is the new way of promoting. If you are trying to target the younger generation, age group or by whatever means, mobile advertising helps. 46% of people who receive an ad on their cell phone are likely to respond, mostly by another text. You can set it up to where the customer can visit your website, call your business or visit your store. Here is an article that goes more in depth if this interests you.
References :
http://www.ehow.com/how_5048749_advertise-using-sms-advertising.html

For a newbie, it's very common to use a blog to do affiliate marketing, but you have to add excellent contents, it's the hardest part because most people have no resource of unique and valuable content.
You can try it, if it's too competitive, just think out the other ways instead, read what the other people are doing in some forums, making friends to expand your chance of success
References :
http://www.quickebuy.com/html/how-to-create-a-virtual-tour-for-free.htm
